Looking for extraordinary Daytona Beach Wedding Photography? The World’s Most Famous Beach is a popular Florida Destination Wedding area and Cooper Photography Studio, with its award-winning bridal portfolio is the discerning bride's first choice among wedding photographers. Photographic artist, Pam Cooper, has earned a reputation among Daytona Beach Photographers as a most experienced and trusted wedding expert. With her proficiency in many fields such as fine art and documentary she has become one of the most diversely accomplished wedding photographers in Central Florida. She was voted ‘Best Wedding Photographer’ and ‘Best All Around Photographer’ in the recent Daytona Beach News-Journal Reader’s Choice awards.

“It’s easy to choose something you love to do and start a business. The challenge for an artist is to stay current, grow, and not lose the initial joy we started with,” she says. To stay current and fresh in today’s market Pam is active in five professional organizations, which keeps her on pulse with what’s new and innovative. “I believe in personal and professional growth,” she explains, “If an artist in any market isn’t reaching for that next level, their creativity suffers. Giving my clients the image that will touch their hearts, as well as their minds, is my ultimate goal.”

Pam draws from experiences such as documentary photographer for the Smithsonian Institution, and staff and freelance photographer for newspapers and magazines. She understands the wedding couple’s requests for candid, spontaneous images. “When a bride requests a photojournalistic style, which by definition, is where the subject is unaware of the camera, I know exactly what she is talking about. Weddings offer many opportunities for unposed expressions, which give a natural and genuine feel to an image. Sports photography has also given me a great advantage with weddings. Catching the bouquet or garter in midair with all the expressions surrounding the event is a lively page in everyone’s album.”

Architectural and fine art photography has also been an asset for creating exciting compositions for wedding portraits. A good photographer will always balance the lighting so the surrounding details enhance their portrait. After all, the locations were probably the first selections in their planning stage.

Pam meets, e-mails and talks frequently with her clients. ‘We’ is the underlying theme. She shares ideas and together with the bride and groom they grow a game plan for the day. For example, if a bride has seen a particular style in a magazine, we suggest she give us tear sheets from magazines. This allows us to ‘see’ exactly what she likes. One bride gave us several pages, and in 4 of the 7 images she had circled, there was one recurring theme. In each one, the groom is unexpectedly kissing the bride on the cheek. On the wedding day, I shared this with the groom. We made a plan where he would kiss her unexpectedly from time to time. The result? Loving and romantic images she cherishes.
